There are a lot of fans of the NFL out in the world. Most conversations revolve around a players stats or statistics. The NFL is planning to make stats more accurate. This allows the coaches to understand their players' weaknesses and strong points. There is a chip embedded in the shoulder pads of all the players. The chip uses radio frequency identification. The first mentioned use of radio frequency identification was in the E-Z Pass, created by Mario Cardullo. Several companies such as Apple, Motorola and Alien Technology are contributing to the project. Zebra Motion Works is as well. While the game plays out, information such as direction, speed profiles, accumulated distance, fitness groups and heat maps are collected which is then feed to the live broadcast.
