Two students from Carpentry 1 put their skills to the test to build a guitar. Sophomore Brandon Joslyn and junior Michaela Meyer came up with the idea after Meyer talked about wanting to learn how to play the guitar. "We were joking around then we actually did it," stated Meyer. It took a month and a few tries to complete the guitar. When talking about the building process, Joslyn said,"We cut a lot of it down then we got the rest of the supplies." The guitar is a fully functioning acoustic with strings and tuners.
Meyer said that she always liked building stuff, which is why she joined carpentry in the first place. Meanwhile, Joslyn was just put in the class but enjoyed it nonetheless. They would like to thank Evan, who helped out with this project.
