College visits are quite beneficial as more opportunities begin to open when students visit. Some schools even waive application fees. It also gives you the chance to see if the school’s environment is one you would like. Reps meet with students interested in the school and meet in small groups to speak about topics such as the academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admission procedures of the college. Any questions a student may have can be answered on the spot by the Rep. Even though there is a lot of information on the colleges website, it still gives students the hands on opportunity to actually see things in action and shows that the student is serious about attending the school.
