Located in downtown Fayetteville, a new and eye opening experience is coming. Recently a war simulator has opened and takes visitors through many different time periods and scenarios. According to BreakIron and Paul Galloway, this type of simulator can normally only be found in amusement parks in the eastern coast. This is the first time something like this has come outside of amusements parks.
Galloway says that the experience will immerse you in war trips like Vietnam, WWII, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan all in five minutes. It’s apparently 4D, which means not only will you be able to see and hear what’s going on, but also feel it. The seats in the theater system move along with the happenings in each scenario to further create realism.
Exactly one hundred volunteers tested this machine before it launched. A couple in Raleigh helped design it.
On May 16 the simulator opens and riders will be free of charge that day. A ceremony will be hosted prior to the opening at 1 p.m in order to celebrate the hard work everyone has put into the project.
