Since 1989, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has granted scholarships to more than 5,550 outstanding students. The Coca-Cola system believes that investing in students who lead academically and in service to others will result in positive, lasting change and sustainable communities. The idea behind the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is to give exceptional students the opportunity to realize their full potential to change the world. The program recognizes students for their capacity to lead and serve. Each year, 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
If you're interested in applying, you must submit your initial application through their website. You must be a high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The application requires you to list your grades, school, community activities and employment, but no essays or additional materials are required. Applicants may not be children or grandchildren of employees, officers or owners of Coca-Cola bottling companies, the Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subdivisions.
