On Tuesday, May 26, the students of Susan Hudgins received an Olive Garden meal after all f their hard work of raising money for an organization known as "Pasta for Pennies." This is presented by by Olive Garden to help aid thousands of children and adults in the fight against blood cancers, such as leukemia. Students at Overhills High School raised 190 dollars in just three short weeks to help the cause.
The students were lucky enough to receive pasta, salad and bread sticks to enjoy as they all celebrated. Students had very little to say as they chowed down, occasionally sharing their thoughts on the cause that has raised awareness for all to see. In the end, collectively as a group, decided to share with Overhills staff and administrations as well.
