On May 15, Overhills celebrated Jag Day to end spirit week which was organized by the AVID Program. Spirit week was comprised of themed days leading up to wearing school colors on Friday. Students were able to participate in games after signing up in the commons area. Some of the tournament being played were football, soccer, volleyball and basketball. Herlene Council, a student watching the basketball tournaments said,"It was energetic and there were two games going on, so everyone had something to pay attention to."
Students had to pay in order to go to the games, not including football. They were able to run the track and purchase food at the concessions stand. Towards the end of the day, Dior and the Overhill's step team performed for the student body to close out the festivities. This was a great way to celebrate the coming of the end of the school year.
