To kick off Ft. Bragg's annual All American Week, more than 150,000 paratroopers ran the four-mile trek on Longstreet Road Monday morning. All American Week is given to soldiers so they can relax and take a break with friends and family. Competitions like softball, football and other sporting events will go on all week.
Wednesday, a memorial service will pay tribute to paratroopers who gave their lives in service and the families who support them. Thursday, paratroopers can show off their skills to the public. From 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Sicily Drop Zone- the Golden Knights will show a parachute demonstration, a performance by the All American Chorus and military vehicles and equipment will be on display. Come out and watch the show!
