Canadian authorities ordered the evacuation of Fort McMurray, Alberta May 4, in face of a approaching wildfire.Eighty eight thousand people were evacuated out of the city as the fire consumed parts of the city. Thankfully, there hasn't been any reported casualties caused by the fire.
Authorities do no no if the fire was started by humans or nature. The fire started May 1 and has burned 602 square miles of forest by May 7 and has destroyed 1600 homes in housing subdivisions. There are also worries that the fire will grow due to dry conditions and winds blowing the fire northward towards more forested areas. Thankfully these areas are unpopulated.
