The second BUG Celebration took place place on May 22 at the Auditorium. The BUG Celebration is a very special event that celebrates students bringing up their grades, even if it's one grade or more. The history of the BUG Celebration is about students coming home with better grades on their report cards, then they came home with another report card and they bring more than one grade, the teachers, parents and staff are so impressed and proud of their students bringing up more than one grade, they decided to do a BUG Celebration.
Ms. McCrimmon, Ms. Stewart, Ms. Gibson, Ms. McPhaul and Ms. Byas participated in this event to congratulate the students for bringing up grades. The prizes are pencils, pens, notebooks and cool sunglasses for each grade a student brings up. The BUG Celebration serves the students cake, pretzels, peppermint candy and punch. Overhills High School is proud of the students and their hard work for bringing one grade up or more on the second annual BUG Celebration.
