ACT PLAN is a pre ACT test that helps you prepare for the ACT test and college. The PLAN test results shows what your strengths are, as well as where your weaknesses are. It provides a solid foundation for your future academic and career success. PLAN tests are usually taken by tenth graders. The test is designed to improve students preparation for education. Students who take the ACT PLAN tend to score higher on the ACT than the students who do not take PLAN. The test also helps students find careers that match their interests and helps connects them with colleges that are interested in them. Individual school systems and schools decide if they will administer PLAN and when they’ll do it.
The ACT PLAN test includes four multiple - choice tests that are English, Math, Reading, and Science. The English section has 50 questions that are to be answered in 30 minutes. Math has 40 minutes to answer 40 questions. For science, students are given 20 minutes to complete 30 questions, and students have 20 minutes to complete 25 reading questions. Each question is worth one point. Students’ raw score is converted into a scaled score ranging from 1 to 32, 32 being the highest score. The actual ACT test is taken in student's’ senior year, so remember to study hard and prepare!
